Please contact us by email or phone at any time to see if the schedule has changed or new classes have been added. Sometimes there may be a substitute teacher for a class.
Drop in for NON REGISTERED students allowed to all classes in BLUE!
Make-up classes for registered students are permitted at ANY CLASS! This means if you miss a class you find a time on the schedule that works for you and come to class. It does not have to be in the same week of the class that you missed.
Our classes are all Hatha Based, which means that they are all a physical form of yoga. Each class incorporates some meditation, movement with breath and a series of Asana (postures).
Core Condition is a class that focuses on building core strength to stabilize the pelvis up into the truck of the body, and from the pelvis into the legs and feet. It is an excellent class for athletes to learn functional movement, as well as for those who have suffered from lower back issues throughout their lives. The class is appropriate for all levels of students.
Yoga in Focus is a class in which the postures are analyzed in bit more detail, it is less flow (although there is a flow segment in it). The class is very thorough, – short meditation, short breathing exercise, section on core work and the fundamentals of postures, and then a “put it together” section, that might focus on back bends, hand or head stand prep.
Yin/Restorative is a class to settle into postures and enjoy the breath and time spent feeling the stretch in your body. The class is a combination of aligned stretching, focused breath work, ball work and restorative postures. A great relaxing class.
Kids Yoga is appropriate for children from 3 – 9 for Tuesday’s class and 9 – 14 years of age for Thursday’s class. Creative play, new friends, and moving bodies. Get your kids into yoga for a lifetime of joy.
Family Yoga is fun for the whole family. Children are welcome from the age of three and up. Mom, dad and kids can all come and learn how to play and move their bodies together. Feel creative and inspired. (This class is currently not running, contact us for start dates.)
Mom and Baby is a perfect place for moms to come with their babes from the time they are feeling comfie with them through to the pre-crawling stage. It is a wonderful way to connect with your baby and with other new mothers as well. (This class is currently not running, contact us for start dates.)
Pre Natal Students are welcome to come to all classes marked with an asterix up to 24 weeks. If you are new to Yoga, let your teacher know. You can of course come to the Prenatal Yoga class on Sundays at any stage in your pregnancy.
